- The BeyondFit mask is perfectly suited for you, designed and manufactured from a 3D imprint of your face. It is therefore not recommended to share your BeyondFit mask with another person;
Avoid leaving the BeyondFit Mask near a heat source;
- Misuse can cause health problems or death. Keep out of the reach of children;
- For information on the proper use of this product, refer to the instruction sheet or contact us;
- It is not recommended to wear this mask for more than four consecutive hours;
- The possibility of a 3D reading and proper fit of BeyondFit decreases with increasing facial hair for men.

BEYONDFIT MASK
BeyondFit is a personalized device perfectly adapted to the user’s facial morphology,
ensuring a high level of protection and optimal comfort.

Our objectives:
- To contribute to the protection against certain airborne pathogens in order to limit the spread of disease;
- To meet criteria of high filtration, breathability, comfort and safety;
- To offer an eco-friendly and reusable solution;
- To provide a device that can be cleaned for aseptic use and sterilized for sterile use.

1 - Silicone seal:
Medical-grade, custom-fitted silicone ring at every point of contact between the user’s face and the mask for extra comfort and perfect seal with face.

2 - Support shell:
Customized and 3D-printed support structure made of Nylon 12. The rigid anti-impact shell is sterilizable at 134 °C and tested for over 100 sterilization cycles, dishwasher and washing machine safe for reuse and long-term protection.

3 - Interchangeable filters:
Certified surgical non-woven filters with bi-directional filtration capacity, bacterial, particulate and viral filtration efficiency in compliance with ASTM and Health Canada standards.

4 - Removable filter caps:
The external filter caps are easily removed for filter replacement without removing the mask from the face. The user can disinfect the face mask with a wipe and change the filters (quickly) in less than 10 seconds between each patient or usage period.

Device assembly:
- Clean the mask before use following the cleaning and/or sterilization
instructions;
- Ensure that the mask is in good condition by performing a visual
inspection. If the shell is cracked or broken, please contact our customer service
department as soon as possible;
- Avoid touching the inside of the mask to prevent contamination.


Silicone seal assembly:
- Position the silicone seal against the inner contour of the shell and use the
support clip to secure it in place.

Filter assembly:
- Remove the inner cap from the filter holder by pulling the middle of the cap, place the filter in the geometric shape, put the cap back in place and press firmly to the bottom to secure it in place. Attach the filter holder to the support shell.

1 - Place the mask on the face, covering the nose and mouth.
Pass the strap over your head and slide until it rests on the crown of your head above your ears.


2 - Attach the clip to the back of the neck.


3 - If needed, adjust the positionning of the mask on your face to get a perfect fit and seal.


4 - Pull on the straps and tighten them to adjust.

1 - Unsnap the filter cap by pulling from the tab.

2 - Place fnger in the ring. Pull and lift the cap off.

3 - Remove the used filter.

4 - Insert new filter.

5 - Ensure the filter is well placed to prevent gaps.

6 - Insert the cap in the tab and push the cap in the secure the filter.

7 - Align the tab to the groove of the mask.

8 - Push the filter cap in, to lock it in place.

SILICONE SEAL

Instructions for changing the silicone seal


1 - Ensure the silicone is correclty oriented.

2 - Align the dorsum part of the silicone to the mask seal.

3 - Insert the rest of the silicone on the seal. Ensure all pins align with the holes on the silicone.

4 - Position the silicone seal where the bottom part is installed first.

5 - insert the silicone seal from the bottom.

6 - Align the pins to the seal and press on them to lock them in place.

7 - Begin locking the pins according to the order.

8 - Lock the pins located on the nostril part of the mask to secure the silicone seal.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND/ OR STERILIZING THE DEVICE


Tips and best practices for wearing a mask:

- Keep your face mask on your face, completely covering your nose and mouth at all times
when you wear it
- Do not wear it around your neck or on your forehead
- Touch your mask as little as possible, and if you do touch it, wash your hands
- Handle your mask by touching the loops or straps, not the face
- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth when removing your face mask
- Wash your hands immediately when removing or handling your face mask
- Clean your mask after removing it (see cleaning and care section)
- Put your mask back in its protective pouch after cleaning.

CLEANING AND CARE FOR ASEPTIC USE

Dishwasher or washing machine cleaning:
- Remove all detachable parts of the device and discard the disposable filters
- Use the included mesh bag, place all parts in the bag and close
- Select a regular dishwasher or washer cycle
- Dry the unit completely before reuse.

CLEANING WITH DISINFECTANTS
Procedure:
- Remove all detachable parts from the device and discard the disposable filters
- Rinse under running water as necessary to remove all visible contaminants/dirt such as
blood or other organic matter from the surface of each part prior to decontamination
and/or sterilization
- Brush with a soft nylon bristle brush if necessary
- Clean all components of the device with a disinfectant using a compatible product (see
Appendix -1-) while respecting the contact time of this product in order to have an
adequate decontamination.

RECYCLING PROGRAM BEYOND MASK

Procedure:
- At the end of the product‘s life cycle, you can use the prepaid ICS label provided in the
original box to send your used mask to the recycling program. Please stick the return
label on the box (original box) before returning it.
- We also offer the opportunity to receive a 15% discount on the purchase of your next
mask. To obtain this discount code, please write and send your request to: info@mybeyondmask.
com and a code will be sent to you by email. You will then be able to use this
code on your next Beyond mask purchase.
- Please note that 100% of the materials of the returned masks will be recycled.

CLEANING AND CARE FOR STERILE USE

Procedure:
- Remove all detachable parts from the device and discard the disposable filters;
- Rinse under running water as necessary to remove all visible contaminants/dirt such as blood or other organic matter from the surface of each part prior to decontamination and/or sterilization;
- Place all parts in a pouch or package designed for sterilization and seal;
- Select the appropriate sterilization cycle and perform a complete cycle;
- Dry the device completely before reuse;
- Wait until the mask has cooled before the next use.

The mask and its components have been tested to withstand more than 100 sterilization cycles at 132 °C.

Filter replacement:
- The BeyondFit is equipped with bidirectional filters that allow a high level of filtration of the incoming and outgoing air;
- Low differential pressure filters eliminate stagnant air and prevent the accumulation of CO2 and heat due to their low resistance to inhalation and exhalation;
- Filters reduce the likelihood of developing headaches due to overuse of the mask (hypercapnia);
- Filters are disposable and can be worn for four consecutive hours;
- Bacterial filtration efficiency is 99.90% (BFE);
- Particle filtration efficiency is 99.30% (99PFE).

- Avoid leaving the BeyondFit Mask near a heat source.
- Improper use or storage of this product can cause health problems, personal injury or death. Keep out of reach of children.
- For information on the proper use of this product, refer to the instruction sheet or contact us.
- It is not recommended to wear the mask for more than eight consecutive hours.
- Do not use in environments containing less than 19.5% oxygen.
- Do not use in environments presenting an immediate danger to life or health.
- Do not exceed the maximum concentrations prescribed by the regulatory standard.
- Never replace, alter, add or remove parts. Use only appropriate replacement parts in accordance with the manufacturer‘s  instructions.
- The mask and all parts are latex-free.
- This filter mask provides protection against some particulate contaminants without eliminating the risk of illness, infection or exposure to them.
- All approved respiratory protection devices must be selected, fitted, used and maintained in accordance with the procedures established by OSHA, CSA and other applicable regulations.
- The possibility of a 3D reading and proper fit of BeyondFit decreases with increasing facial hair for men.
